In order for our potential clients to get to know us better, we’ve compiled a few questions and answers from our team so that you can better understand our character and skills to ensure a proper fit.
Q: What do you like most about your profession:
A: The best part of our job is when we present a new site to our clients. We pride ourselves on getting to know our clients inside and out, learning their needs, wants and desires and creating a beautiful site that is an expression of the thoughts that even they weren’t able to convey until they saw it online.
Q: What questions do clients most commonly ask you? How do you respond?
A: Timeline. The biggest question in our industry is how long will this take. It seems that most people do this is a part-time job. At nights and on the weekends as their lives permit. That’s OK, but sometimes life happens and things come up that get in the way of delivering a site as quickly as is possible, done in as concise a way as possible.
We aren’t those people. This is our full-time, 24/7 job and our livelihood. Our very existence depends on presenting a fabulous product in as little time as possible. We have a team that is ready, willing and able to see you achieve your dream site, in record time.
Q: Describe a recent client engagement or project.
A: Our most recent client/engagement was with Eden Pharms. They are the inventors of a fabulous, all natural product used for muscle pains and slight tissue damage. It’s an incredible product.
From the first phone call with the owner to the invitation to come experience life on the “pharm”, we feel we’ve been able to capture their dream and make it a reality online. The only presence they have is a web presence. Therefore, it was extremely important for them to convey the elegance and sophistication of their product on their site.
We humbly feel like we were able to make that happen for them and it’s been an absolute joy for us to see it come to fruition.
Q: What are the most important things to consider when hiring a service provider in your field?
A: 1.) The quality of the end product that provider is able to convey is the biggest consideration. If your site looks cheap and poorly done then your product or service will look the same.
2.) Again, timing is another really big one. Too often sites are done as a secondary job and therefore can take a second to everything else on their plate. At iDL, our clients are our priority, our bread and butter so to speak, and we guarantee your site to be done within the agreed time line.
Q: How are you different than others in your profession?
A: Our total commitment to perfection and exemplifying our clients truest desires for their site, in a timely manner, is what sets us out against the rest. Also, the scope of our work and the clients we’ve worked with previously give us an edge as well.
Q: What is your biggest professional influence?
A: Our desire is to help ourselves look good by making you look better. Our work will speak volumes based on the quality of the site we produce for each client and not in the branding of ourselves.
Q: How do you typically handle disagreements with clients?
A: We honestly don’t believe that there should be disagreements with clients. It is ultimately their site and our desire to give them what they wish. Therefore, our thoughts or desires have nothing to do with the end results.
Q: Describe your proudest professional accomplishment.
A: Our proudest professional accomplishment was being recognized as the “Top 100 Best Customer Experience” in 2009 by Internet Retailer Magazine. There is no better feeling than being recognized by industry-related professionals.
